Der Anwendungsleitfaden wurde im Rahmen des Bundesprogramms „Lernen vor Ort“ in Zusammenarbeit mit den teilnehmenden Kommunen kontinuierlich überarbeitet und dient als Transferprodukt und Orientierungsrahmen zum Aufbau eines kommunalen Bildungsmonitorings in Landkreisen und kreisfreien Städten.
