Im Hinblick auf die für 2009/2010 geplante OECD-Studie PIAAC (Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) analysiert Dieter Gnahs die Ergebnisse der letzten Erhebung (1996/1998), aus der repräsentative Daten zur Lesefähigkeit der Deutschen vorliegen. Gerade im Wettkampfsport mit seiner inhärenten Leistungsbezogenheit scheint Inklusion schwierig. Doch das »Special Olympics Unified Sports®«-Konzept bringt Sportler*innen mit und ohne Behinderung im wettkampforientierten Sport zusammen; Ziel ist ein »wirkungsvoller Einstieg« in ein »inklusives Klima«. Gelingt dieser Einstieg? Dieser Frage geht die Autorin auf Basis einer Studie nach.

The aim of the paper is to give an overview of key issues involved in recognising non-formal and informal learning, ranging from the legitimacy of the learning activities in terms of the outcomes to be recognised, through the cost of the necessary assessment, and essential elements such as quality assurance, the standards used, the potential benefits and the real obstacles. This article adopts the PISA study’s staged competence model in the area of football. The authors specify five levels of competency in football literacy to serve as the basis for an adult education curriculum. The motivation for the study is the staging of the World Cup in a country which was the loser in the PISA study: Germany. The general public should be knowledgeable at least when it comes to football.

Bildungsberatung wird immer stärker in kommunale Bildungsstrategien eingebunden. Dabei ist die Praxis von Bildungsberatung ebenso divers wie die berufliche Herkunft der Beratenden. Wie ihr Selbstverständnis aussieht, welche Gemeinsamkeiten in der Beruflichkeit trotz der Diversität der Beratenden bestehen und inwiefern eine weitergehende Vernetzung der Beratungsakteure sinnvoll ist, zeigt eine Studie der Universität Duisburg-Essen zur Bildungsregion Duisburg.
