Wie wirken Praxis, Empirie und Theorie der Erwachsenenbildung zusammen? Der Autor beschreibt kennzeichnende Merkmale und Aufgaben, um ausgehend von dieser Analyse die Notwendigkeit einer Vermittlung zwischen den drei Bereichen darzulegen. Ziel ist es, Kernpunkte der Erwachsenenbildung herauszuarbeiten, sie einem wissenschaftlichen Diskurs zu unterwerfen und gemeinsam überprüfbare Kriterien festzulegen, um Kontinuität und Qualität des Diskurses sicher zu stellen.
Adult Education is rarely associated with genuine research methods. But recently a number of innovative methodical approaches have emerged which have been implemented in adult education. Often these empirical approaches are interconnected and therefore will be in the focus of our attention. This edition of REPORT will present and evaluate these innovative research methods in adult education.
