Die Deutschlehrerinnen Evelyn Krings und Michaela Visosky sowie der Lehrgangsleiter Christian Rietschel arbeiten an der VHS Rüsselsheim. Sie berichten über ihre Erfahrungen in einem vom Arbeitsamt finanzierten Qualifizierungslehrgang zur Berufsorientierung für anerkannte Asylanten und Migranten. Die Ursachen von Lernschwierigkeiten und –widerständen sind vielfältig. Sozialpädagogischen Begleitung und viel Zeit sind Grundvoraussetzungen für erfolgreiches Lernen.
Monika Herr und Stephan Dietrich nehmen eine Konkretisierung des Begriffs der „Neuen Lehr- und Lernkultur“ vor und zeigen Perspektiven für die Veränderung der Lernkultur auf. Im ersten Teil wird die Diskussion begründet, im zweiten Teil werden Charakteristika neuer Lehr- und Lernkulturen herausgearbeitet und im dritten Teil Grundlagen und Voraussetzungen für eine Veränderung der Lehr- und Lernkultur benannt.

Adult Education is rarely associated with genuine research methods. But recently a number of innovative methodical approaches have emerged which have been implemented in adult education. Often these empirical approaches are interconnected and therefore will be in the focus of our attention. This edition of REPORT will present and evaluate these innovative research methods in adult education.
The study examines how research-based learning, based on grounded theory, might enhance students learning abilities. In the context of a qualitative experiment, two groups of students were introduced to research-based learning. The students involved were asked about their learning experiences afterwards.
