Production and communication in adult- and further education research Since years questions of adult education and further education are worked on by research in Switzerland. Also the universities participate. Based on recherches it is debated, whether this research practice has lead to a creation of a social field which enables the continuity of discourse, the accumulation of knowledge, the formation of functional standards and the chances of acquiring reputation.
The mature adult who participates voluntarily in free educational programmes is a basic assumption, which equally often supports theories and practices of adult education as it is empirically challenged. In den Bereichen Wohnen und Arbeit gibt es für Menschen mit Unterstützungsbedarf regelhafte Angebotsstrukturen für Assistenz. Für Angebote der allgemeinen und politischen Erwachsenenbildung ist dies nicht der Regelfall, und vielfach bleiben diese Angebote ohne Assistenz unzugänglich. Der Autor und die Autorin zeigen auf, was Assistenz im Bildungsbereich beinhaltet und wie die Aufgaben und Organisationsmodelle von Assistenz in der Erwachsenenbildung aussehen.
Gibt es »rote Linien« in der (politischen) Erwachsenenbildung, inwiefern sollte es sie geben? Diesen Fragen geht der Autor am Beispiel der Bildungsarbeit »gegen rechts« nach – und zeigt auf, dass es keine einfachen Antworten hierauf gibt.
