Do-it-yourself literature opens up a broad autodidactic field - though explicit references to "learning" are hardly relevant. In the light of a complex constellation of a contemporary production of knowledge and values, the repertoire of adult education is capable of taking a critical look at the postulated performance of do-it-yourself literature, as well as (re)discovering dimensions such as reactions, physicality or emotions of the learning self.
Aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of an extra-occupational graduate program. Hence it was of crucial importance, whether the alumni assessed the graduate program as effective. To investigate this research question a quantitative questionnaire was designed. Thus the graduate program was evaluated at the three levels reactions, learning and transfer. Die Einrichtungen der Erwachsenenbildung können sich mittels Quali-tätsmanagementprozessen weiterentwickeln und im Rahmen solcher Prozesse eine gemeinsame Haltung herausarbeiten. Darüber hinaus stellen Programmangebote zur Politischen Bildung einen zentralen Aspekt dar, wie die Einrichtung authentisch auftreten kann.
