This article adopts the PISA study’s staged competence model in the area of football. The authors specify five levels of competency in football literacy to serve as the basis for an adult education curriculum. The motivation for the study is the staging of the World Cup in a country which was the loser in the PISA study: Germany. The general public should be knowledgeable at least when it comes to football.
The article describes reasons, targets, elements and areas of applications of the concept of gender democratic didactics in adult education. The author investigates prepositions and consequences to pedagogical acting, methodical structuring and basic conditions of educational processes. This contribution describes an approach for the assessment of the total expenditure for adult and continuing education and training (ACET) in Austria, broken down by public and private sources of financing. Variants of estimates of the expenditure are presented. Direct expenditure has been at 0.7% and the sum of direct and indirect expenditure at 1.2% of GDP in 2009. Welche demokratiebildenden Kräfte kann Erwachsenenbildung außerhalb von Formaten dezidiert politischer Bildung freisetzen und welche Voraussetzungen braucht sie dafür? Die Autorin plädiert für Freiräume in der Erwachsenenbildungspraxis die Begegnungen schaffen und Zugehörigkeitserfahrungen ermöglichen können.
