AI for lifelong learning - opportunities, challenges and skills

Artificial intelligence is changing the way we learn. But how can humans and machines work together meaningfully in adult and continuing education? What new opportunities do AI-supported systems offer for personalised learning paths, automated feedback and skills diagnostics?

The DIE Forum will provide an overview of innovative teaching and learning approaches, discuss the influence of the European Union's AI Act on the education sector and highlight the risks and potential. In addition to specialist presentations and discussions, the second day will focus on the practical testing of various AI tools.

On the evening of 1 December, this year's prize for innovation in adult education will be awarded on the topic of ‘AI and continuing education - breaking down barriers, shaping participation’.
