Performing and visual arts, craftsmanship and design, music, dance and the critical reflection of arts through cultural education – the Innovation Prize for Continuing Education 2014 focuses on all areas of cultural education.

The winner will be awarded on December 1, 2014.

The Innovation Prize for Continuing Education 2014 is under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Eckart Liebau, UNESCO Chair in Cultural Education at the University Erlangen-Nürnberg.

An independent jury of scientists of cultural education and the various fields will decided on this year's laureates. The jury members were:

Innovation Prize for Continuing Education

The DIE has awarded the Innovation Prize in Continuing Education biennially since 1997 - the "most renowed prize in adult education in Germany“ (Frankfurter Rundschau). The award is intended to publicize innovative and promising approaches to continuing education and present them to the general public. As key criteria, the projects need to be innovative and field-tested, giving new impetus to adult education.
